We are a four attorney office with three very experienced paralegals. Our size allows us to offer highly expert legal advice and execution, combined with caring counsel to help clients through difficult life situations.

Dan J. Hall, Attorney

Mr. Hall is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law by the California State Board of Legal Specialization.

He has received the highest possible rating of “AV” from Martindale-Hubbell, a firm that has been rating lawyers for over a century for both legal ability and adherence to ethical standards, based on confidential peer review.

Dan started his private practice in 1992 and represents clients with wide ranges of net worth and a variety of backgrounds. Before beginning his private practice he was a tax partner in the San Francisco office of Coopers & Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers) a national CPA firm. There he served as Director of Personal Financial Services for the firm’s Western Region of the U.S.

Dan has spoken on estate planning and tax related topics to many different audiences including groups of attorneys, CPAs, and financial professionals. He is the past president of the Eastern Alameda County Bar Association and the Tri-Valley Estate Planning Council. He holds a degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University and received his law degree from the University of Houston. In addition to his law degree and license to practice law in the state of California, he has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant by the state of Texas.

Dan and his wife, Kathlyn, are long time Pleasanton residents and each of their 6 children is a graduate of the Pleasanton school system.

Michael J. Hall, Attorney

Mr. Hall’s practice is concentrated on estate planning, wills, trusts, estate administration, probate, trust administration, and tax planning.

Mike joined the firm as a summer law clerk in 2004, and full time in August 2009. He holds a degree in Business Management from Utah Valley University and a Juris Doctor degree from Whittier Law School.

Mike’s family moved to Pleasanton when he was two years old, and after attending Pleasanton schools he graduated from Foothill High School in 2000. His wife, Laura, also grew up in Pleasanton and attended Amador Valley High School. Mike and his wife have six children.

His hobbies include snowboarding, running, baseball, basketball, softball, and golf.

William D. Wollesen, Attorney

Mr. Wollesen’s practice is concentrated on estate planning, wills, trusts, business planning, and family office services.

Will joined the firm in January, 2016.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University and a Juris Doctor with a High Tech Law Certificate Award from Santa Clara University.

Will has spent over a decade advising Silicon Valley company founders and executives with their personal and business needs.  He has played varying roles in this effort, including portfolio manager, project manager, CFO and General Counsel.

Will is a licensed attorney in the State of California and is fluent in Spanish.  Will grew up in the south bay and his wife, Brooke, grew up in Pleasanton and graduated from Amador Valley High School.  Will and his wife have four children, Daenen, Davis, Haley and Sadie.

His hobbies include running, skiing, tennis, soccer, golf and boating.


 

Julie Glosson Ishii, Attorney

Ms. Ishii is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law by the California State Board of Legal Specialization. Her practice is concentrated on estate planning, special needs planning, conservatorships, and bankruptcy.

Julie joined the firm in November, 2019 after working three years in solo practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Finance concentration from California State University, Fresno and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Golden Gate University, School of Law. 

As a solo practitioner, Julie concentrated her practice on estate planning and representation of chapter 7 panel trustees in bankruptcy cases filed in the Northern District of California.  Prior to starting her own firm, Julie spent 12 years working as an attorney for the United States Trustee, a litigating component of the United States Department of Justice.  As an attorney for the U.S. Trustee, she prosecuted cases involving civil bankruptcy fraud and abuse, administered cases filed under chapter 11 of Title 11 of the United States Code, and oversight of bankruptcy trustees.

Julie is currently serving as the President for the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum and previously served as program co-coordinator responsible for programing and events for BABF.  She has served on the Board of Directors for BABF since 2016.  Julie is also a member of the Tri-Valley Estate Planning Council.

Julie volunteers her time as a member of the Board of Directors at School of Imagination in Dublin, California.  SOI is a leader in inclusion education for young children offering a wide range of services from preschool programs to speech, behavioral, and occupational therapy. 

Julie grew up in California’s Central Valley and now resides with her husband and two young boys in Pleasanton, California.  When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, keeping up with two active boys, and if there’s time, playing the piano.
